ActressA star that shines for real
Téa Leoni was born in 1966, in New York City. Her actual name is a bit longer, Elizabeth Téa Pantaleoni, as her father Anthony was a lawyer of Italian descent. Téa was raised both in Englewood, New Jersey, and NYC. She debuted at 22 in a TV show, “Angels 88”, an updated version of “Charlie’s Angels”. Then, much of TV and some minor roles on the big screen until her big occasion: playing the journalist Nora Wilde in the sitcom “The Naked Truth”, that was aired since 1995 to 1998.
Her movie career is full of action (“Deep Impact”, “Jurassic Park III”) and comedy (“The Family Man”, “Hollywood Ending”, “You Kill Me”), both genres very suitable to an half Italian woman.As being kind at heart. In 2001 Téa was named UNICEF goodwill ambassador, following the footprints of her paternal grandmother Helenka Pantaleoni, who chaired the US Fund for UNICEF for more than 25 years. Téa is an atypical show woman, going straight to what it really matters : “I don’t find glamour relevant”.

Christian Siriano, a young stylist of the NYC scene, answered the call: “If Governor Cuomo says we need masks, my team will help make some. I have a full sewing team still on staff working from home that can help”, he tweeted.
